🎯 Game Overview
Seizer is a strategic tile placement game where 2-10 players compete to capture cities, roads, monasteries and fields. Players take turns placing tiles and claiming features with their followers to score points. The player with the highest score at the end of the game wins!
1. Place Tiles
Draw and place a tile to expand the landscape. Match roads to roads, cities to cities, and fields to fields.
2. Claim Features
Place a follower on the tile you just placed to claim a city, road, or monastery.
3. Score Points
Complete features to score points and retrieve your followers. The player with the most points wins!

⚙️ Game Setup
- 1One tile is placed in the center of the map. This is your world's foundation.
- 2Each player receives their followers in their chosen color
- 3Players take turns placing tiles and then placing followers on the tile they just placed.
🔄 Turn Structure
Each turn consists of three phases that must be completed in order:
Phase 1: Place a Tile
- • You will be holding up to 3 tiles in your hand.
- • You must place one tile adjacent to existing tiles on the map.
- • Important: All edges must match perfectly - city walls connect to city walls, roads connect to roads
- • If you cannot place a tile, you must pass your turn.
Phase 2: Place a Follower (Optional)
- • You may place one follower on the tile you just placed
- • Followers can claim different features:
- 🏰 Knight: Followers placed on cities become knights and score points.
- 🛣️ Robber: Followers placed on roads become robbers and score points.
- ⛪ Monk: Followers placed on monasteries become monks and score points.
- 👨🌾 Farmer: Followers placed on fields become farmers and score points.
- • Rule: Each feature can only be claimed by one player at a time
- • Rule: You can only place followers on the tile you just placed that turn.
Phase 3: Score Completed Features
- • Everyone gains points for the completed features they have claimed.
- • Followers return to their owners' hands once a feature is completed.
- • Note: Incomplete features score points at the end of the game.
🏆 Scoring System
🏰 Cities
2 points per tile + 2 points per shield
1 point per tile + 1 point per shield at the end of the game, if the city is incomplete.
🛣️ Roads
1 point per tile
Roads are complete when both ends connect to cities, monasteries, intersections or form a loop
⛪ Monasteries
9 points when complete
Monasteries are complete when surrounded by 8 tiles
👨🌾 Fields
3 points per adjacent completed city
Fields score at the end of the game for each completed city they supply
🎯 Game End & Victory
The game ends when the last tile is placed. At this point:
- • Score all incomplete features (cities, roads, monasteries)
- • Score fields for each completed city they supply
- • The player with the highest total score wins!
